DIRECTOR OF GENERAL PLANNING DEPartment, COUNCIL OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLES VISIT THE EMBASSY OF TUVALU, R.O.C. (TAIWAN)/ 原住民委員會綜合規劃處王瑞盈處長拜會吐瓦魯駐華大使館 / by Minute Taupo

On 4th July, 2018, Mr. Ruey-Yng Wang, Director of General Planning Department, Council of Indigenous Peoples (CIP), Taiwan (R.O.C.) visited H.E. Ambassador Limasene Teatu at the Embassy of Tuvalu, R.O.C. (Taiwan). Director Wang cordially invites Ambassador Teatu to attend "2018 Austronesian Forum" in the beginning of August this year. Indigenous peoples in Taiwan share many common grounds with Tuvaluan people; therefore, CIP and Taiwanese government expect more cooperation between Tuvalu and Taiwan in the future. Director Wang further mentioned that CIP is working with Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize the workshops and training programs for the youth and women empowerment in the coming year. We are looking forward to it!

原住民委員會綜合規劃處王瑞盈處長於2018年7月4日拜會涂莉梅大使,邀請涂莉梅大使參加在今年8月初舉行之「2018年南島民族論壇」,渠指出本屆論壇將邀請多國代表及專家學者共同與會,同時安排部落參訪行程,盼能讓駐華使節及與會來賓更瞭解臺灣原住民文化;另原委會刻正與外交部合作,規劃婦女培力工作坊及青年職訓等計畫,盼兩國在未來有更多合作機會。
